Growing Datil Peppers Hydroponically

For us here at Ancient City Datil, growing hydroponic hot peppers is fun and rewarding. Growing hot peppers (capsicum) like the Datil Pepper in a Dutch Bucket System improves our growth rate, yield, fruit size, shelf life, and possibly even heat units (Scoville Heat Units).

Hydroponic Datil Pepper Growing Area

In conventional soil gardens, even in favorable growing climates, hot chili peppers like Datil Peppers typically only get 2-3 feet tall. However, in an aerated Dutch Bucket hydroponic system that same plant can reach 5-6 feet tall in the same time frame.

A bigger plant equals a bigger yield and bigger fruit. That means more potential hot Datil peppers for you. :)
